Eligibility & condition

• Item must be unused & uninstalled (no cut wires, mounting marks, scratches).
• Include all parts: canopy, hardware, finials, chain/rod, spare parts, manuals, free gifts.
• Return in original packaging (inner foam/protectors + outer carton). If unusable, email us for packing guidance.
• Clean and safe to handle. Inadequate packing/missing parts may lead to refusal or deductions.

How to start a return or replacement (RMA)

1. Email sales@brasleafstudio.com with order #, name, phone, address.
2. State reason: Damaged / Defective / Incorrect / Change-of-mind / Exchange.
3. For damage/defect, attach photos: outer box (all sides), inner packaging, issue close-ups, and shipping label.
4. We’ll reply with an RMA and instructions. Unapproved returns may be refused.

Shipping & labels

• Damage/defect/incorrect: we cover return shipping or arrange pickup.
• Change-of-mind/exchange: you cover return shipping. We can provide a prepaid label and deduct its cost from the refund if you prefer.
• Use a trackable, insured carrier. You’re responsible until received at our facility.

Non-returnable items

• Custom/made-to-order fixtures (non-standard dimensions/finishes), unless damaged/defective on arrival.
• Clearance/Final Sale items.
• Installed items, or those showing wear, odors, residue, altered wiring.
• Gift cards and personalized engravings/plates.

Refunds & timing

• Refund to original payment method after return is received and inspected.
• Inspection: 2–5 business days; bank posting: 5–10 business days.
• Outbound shipping (if any) and optional return label costs are non-refundable, except for our error.

Restocking & deductions

• No restocking

Exchanges

• Request within 60 days. Ship original back after RMA; once inspected, we ship the replacement.
• Price difference & shipping apply.

International orders

• Import duties/taxes are not refundable by us; replacements may ship as parts for speed.

Order changes & cancellations

• Before dispatch: free to cancel/modify (except custom builds already in production).
• After dispatch: request a return (per windows above).

Packaging checklist

• Re-bag fixture & hardware; protect metal surfaces.
• Refit foam, corner guards, supports, anti-scuff sheets.
• Bag small parts (screws, canopy nuts, downrods, chains).
• Fill voids to prevent movement; seal with strong tape.
• Affix return label; remove old labels.

Refused/undeliverable

If a shipment returns as refused/undeliverable, we can reship (freight applies) or refund minus two-way shipping.

Warranty & bulbs

Fixtures include a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal residential use. Bulbs are not included unless noted. Using incorrect bulb type or exceeding recommended wattage may void warranty.

Where we ship & carriers

• We ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
• A tracking link will be emailed as soon as your order is dispatched.

Production, processing & dispatch

• Made-to-order (standard items): production time is 6–10 business days from order confirmation/payment. We dispatch immediately after production completes.
• Customized items: may require a longer production window. We’ll share the exact timeline during order discussion and confirm by email/invoice.
• Orders placed after the daily cutoff or on weekends/holidays are processed the next business day.

Transit times (after dispatch)

• Typical delivery window: 3–7 working days with DHL/FedEx/UPS.
• Rural/remote areas or weather/security events may add extra days.
• Delivery timelines are estimates (not guarantees), but we’ll assist with any carrier delays.

Duties, taxes & import fees

• United States: We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)—U.S. tariffs & duties are paid by us.
• Other countries: duties/taxes (if any) are payable by the recipient per local regulations. The carrier may contact you for clearance.

Shipping costs

• Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight/volume, and service.
• Any promotional “free shipping” will be shown on the cart/checkout page when eligible.

Address changes & delivery preferences

• Before dispatch: email sales@brasleafstudio.com ASAP to request an address change.
• After dispatch: changes or hold requests (e.g., access-point pickup) may incur a carrier fee.
• Signature may be required at delivery for higher-value shipments.

Packaging & split shipments

• Fixtures ship in protective packaging. Multiple items may ship separately; each box gets its own tracking number.

Missed delivery, refusal, or wrong address (no re-dispatch)

• If a parcel is returned to us as refused, unclaimed, or due to an incorrect/insufficient address, it will not be dispatched again.
• We will issue a refund to the original payment method minus two-way shipping (outbound + carrier return charges) and any applicable carrier fees.
• If the order qualified for promotional/free shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
• For made-to-order/custom items, additional deductions may apply per our Return Policy if the item is not in resaleable condition.

Damages, loss & what to do

• Inspect the outer box on arrival. If damaged, photograph the box, inner packaging, and the item before fully unboxing.
• Report shipping damage to sales@brasleafstudio.com within 7 days with photos (outer box, inner packaging, issue close-ups, and shipping label).
• We will replace the affected part or the full item, or arrange a refund as appropriate. Lost shipments are handled with the carrier’s investigation; we’ll keep you updated.

Holiday periods & force majeure

• During peak seasons or due to weather/customs/security events, carriers may experience delays beyond our control. We’ll monitor and assist until delivered.
