Who Are We and What Do We Make?

We are Brass Leaf Studio—designing in the USA and handcrafting in India. We make solid-brass lighting (pendants, chandeliers, sconces, and more), built to order for your project.

Are Products Made-to-Order? How Long Is Production?

Yes—every product is produced on order. Typical production is 5–12 days; complex or fully custom pieces are 3–4 weeks. Production time is separate from shipping time.

Sockets, Wiring & Country Standards

  • Sockets we support: E26, E27, E12 (bulbs usually not included).
  • For international orders, we wire according to the destination country’s standards (voltage/frequency/grounding).

Are Your Fixtures Dimmable?

Yes—most fixtures are dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer.

Can We Install on a Sloped/Vaulted Ceiling?

Yes. Request a swivel canopy or angled adapter during ordering so the fixture hangs plumb.

Extra Downrods/Chain Length

We can provide additional downrods or chain. Share your ceiling height and target hang height.

Indoor vs. Damp Areas

Our fixtures are intended for indoor use unless specified. For bathrooms or covered patios (damp areas), ask us to confirm suitability. Outdoor exposure voids warranty unless noted.

Finish Samples & Color Matching (HEX/CMYK)

We can share finish guidance and color-match using HEX or CMYK references. Minor tone variations occur on brass substrates. Finish sample chips may be available on request.

Orders, Returns & Support

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Return requests are accepted within 60 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging.
  • Customized/Personalized items are non-returnable except for manufacturer defects or transit damage.
  • Email returns@brassleafstudio.com with your order number to begin.
  • Original shipping is not refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • International duties/VAT paid to your customs authority are typically non-refundable.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Email info@brassleafstudio.com with subject “CHANGE OF ORDER” within 12 hours of purchase. After processing begins, changes may affect timing/cost; we’ll do our best to help.

Wrong Address Changes

Please email info@brassleafstudio.com within 12 hours of ordering to correct addresses. After dispatch, carriers may charge a reroute fee and delivery could be delayed.

Signature on Delivery & Failed Deliveries

Express couriers may require a signature. If delivery is missed, the courier will reattempt or hold at a pickup location. Fees from storage/returns due to unclaimed parcels may be billed to the customer.

PO Boxes & Split Shipments

Express couriers generally cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Large orders may ship in multiple cartons with separate tracking numbers.

Insurance & Claims

Shipments are insured. If something arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and product; we’ll handle replacements and the claim process.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Warranty

We provide a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Excludes bulbs, normal finish aging/patina, improper installation, incorrect voltage, or third-party modifications.

Wholesale, Trade & Sea Freight Options

We offer trade/wholesale pricing and can ship large consignments by sea freight to substantially reduce cost. Typical sea transit is about 45 days (route-dependent). We can quote schedules, documentation, and Incoterm C&F on request.
